A Look Inside Highview London

This virtual tour offers a look inside our homes in London and Kitchener, Ontario, where people living with dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease, live within small, supportive communities that feel like home.

A young woman and an older woman are sitting on a couch, smiling and holding hands. The older woman has short gray hair, glasses, and is holding a walking cane. They are in a bright, cozy living room.

A Peaceful, Home-Like Setting

Highview London is comprised of two Houses: Franklin House and Chapin House. Each House includes two cottages joined by a hallway. Constable Cottage and Harris Cottage are within Franklin House. Taylor Cottage and Smith Cottage are within Chapin House.

Each cottage is home to 12–13 residents and includes both private and shared living spaces. This intimate scale means residents are truly known by our team, their histories, routines, and the details that make them who they are.

Your Day, Your Rhythm

A Familiar Flow of Care

At Highview London, our philosophy of care is resident-focused. The rhythm of the day, activities, meals, and personal care is guided by the resident rather than an imposed schedule. Residents wake, dine, and move through their day in ways that feel natural to them.

"We help families support their loved ones in making the transition from their current home to Highview, where they come to feel comfortable and settled, where we make things just a little easier. Our approach is to gently guide residents through their day with love, encouraging independence wherever possible and providing support whenever needed." - Joy Birch, President, Highview
