Where Retirement Feels Like Home
A welcoming retirement community on Main Street, Lucan, ON.
Small by Design
Small Town Charm. Real Community.
Highview Lucan is small and familiar in scale, welcoming in spirit, and deeply connected to the surrounding community. Many residents will be moving from long-time homes. They're looking for simplicity, safety, and the comfort of continuing to be part of a community.
Here, neighbours become familiar quickly. Staff know your name. Family visits are easy. Sunday drives still feel possible. And when you need them, London's hospitals and specialists are just 22 minutes away.
Stay Together. Stay Independent.
For Couples Who Want to Stay Together.
Many of the couples who choose Highview Lucan have been married for decades. When one spouse begins to need a little more support, the question becomes quietly important: How do we continue to live together?
At Highview Lucan, couples can remain together even as their needs evolve. Our retirement living includes up to 1.5 hours of daily support per suite. And because dementia care is located within the same home, just an easy walk to the secure second floor, there's comfort in knowing that if one spouse's needs change more significantly, they can continue within the same familiar community.
Your Day, Your Rhythm
Dining & Daily Living.
Meals are served in our bright and welcoming dining room. Breakfast is offered à la carte, whether you're an early riser or prefer to sleep in. Lunch and dinner include two entrée choices each day, with linen and table service.
Weekly housekeeping is included. Activities take place within the home. And if you'd rather spend the afternoon in your suite with a good book or a favourite television program, that's perfectly fine. Life here isn't scheduled for you; it's shaped around you.
Where Everyone Belongs
A Community With Life in It.
Highview Lucan is proud to welcome adults of different ages and abilities within one shared home. On the main and upper floors, seniors enjoy retirement living alongside people with a developmental disability who have chosen supportive independent living. On our secure second floor, residents living with dementia receive care thoughtfully tailored to their needs.
Each floor has its own purpose and daily rhythm. And yet, this is one home where generations move through the same front door, share the same gardens, and are part of the same community.
“Knowing Mom was safe in your care gave us peace of mind.”

Sometimes our needs change as life unfolds over time. We are here to help.
If additional assistance is needed due to changes in physical strength, communication, safety, or cognitive ability, we will meet with the Resident and their Power of Attorney, as appropriate, to review options and determine the most appropriate next steps as these needs evolve.
Support beyond the included up to 1.5 hours per day can be added if appropriate and agreed upon.
Because dementia care is located within the same home on our secure second floor, couples and individuals can often remain within the same familiar community if a higher level of care is needed.
Our focus is on maintaining continuity, comfort, and a sense of home as needs evolve.
